I’ve been away a few days this week so I haven’t had a lot of time to work on the cars, but next week is when Rusty is booked in at the bodyshop to get that rust repaired!

I was a bit worried about removing the instruments and dashboard but pulling the dash out of the GT gave me the confidence I needed. It’s only four screws to get the cluster out (two were missing!) then five bolts to remove the dash. Easy!

So that’s really about it for this week. I’ve pulled a few more pieces off the GT. Next step is to remove the wiring then glass, mirrors, rear light and other exterior parts, meaning it will no longer be weatherproof.

Then the plan is to get the rest stripped and get it out of the drive as soon as possible as we’re getting a bit sick of looking at it.

Oh yeah and my face has healed pretty well 🙂

I love everything about cars! Driving, looking at them, modifying. It's great to see what people do with cars, the different car cultures. If I was rich, my garage would be bigger than my house!
