The C43 is back the AMG line up. Back in 1997 the first generation C class offered 43 AMG as a 4.3L V8 with 228kw. Now the C43 is back in the fourth generation Class with a twist, its now a coupe. And It also running a V6, but like any AMG, the figures generally do not disappoint. Producing 270Kw and 520Nm of torque, making it launch from 0-100 in 4.7 seconds. Which is only just 0.7 seconds slower then the monstrous C63 AMG.
Whats now the baby coupe to the C63 AMG, you still get the same body and chassis. So for all intensive purposes its a more practical less face melting AMG, but an AMG never the less. It also comes stock with Mercedes-Benz AWD system, AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive with rear-biased torque distribution of 31 to 69 percent. Other AMG features are AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with adaptive variable damping in three stages, mode can be selected via button, adopted from C 63. And AMG DYNAMIC SELECT switch for dynamic, individually selectable driving experience with five drive modes and AMG-specific parameterisation.
We loved testing the C63, so we have high hopes as we wait to road test the new C43.
